Conclusion: It is necessary that electronic wires are standard components in the BOM of the entire heat pump machine
The "heat pump wiring" needs to be disassembled into two layers: the external installation wiring (power supply incoming line, communication line between indoor and outdoor units/line controllers, purchased by the engineering company, not included in the internal configuration of the whole machine) and the internal electronic wiring of the equipment (internal wiring of the equipment randomly equipped during installation, which is the market for electronic wiring/harness factories). The latter is required for each unit and is a mandatory item for export model certification.

The domestic unit manual is very clear: signal/line controller connection wires from manufacturers such as Linne and Hawei require 0.5 mm² shielded wires, and copper core wires for power circuits are selected according to the maximum current; The Beijing "Technical Regulations for Application of Air Source Heat Pump Systems" DB11/T 1382 also requires that the distribution conductor be a copper core cable or wire, and the Inner Mongolia Air Energy Beijing Standardization Management Information Platform. The PVC insulation on the high-temperature side (compressor exhaust chamber, electric auxiliary heating) cannot withstand it and must be equipped with silicone/fluoroplastic high-temperature wires, which is a typical scenario for high-temperature electronic wires such as AWM 3132/3135.
2)Certification threshold for export models (most critical for wire factories)
1 North America: The internal wiring must be UL758 AWM certified, and the UL/UL60335 series safety review will verify the Style number, temperature resistance, and flame retardancy (UL94 VW-1/FT1) of each section of the wire;
2 Europe: Corresponding to VDE/H05VV-F and EN 50525 systems, CE+RoHS;
3 Japan: Electrical Safety Act (PSE) corresponds to JIS C 3307/3302 wire requirements.
That is to say, domestic sales only require the national standard RV/RVV+CCC; To export, it is necessary to obtain the corresponding AWM/VDE model with safety certification. This is a differentiated link that domestic general wire factories cannot enter, and only certified wire factories have differentiation.
4)Application of various 3F electronic wires in heat pumps
Based on our product, there are three differentiated locations where the heat pump can be switched:
1 High temperature/refrigerant resistant section: Silicone wire (UL3132/3135), FEP/PTFE wire are used to drive compressor chambers, exhaust pipes, and electric auxiliary heating peripherals. Oil and refrigerant resistance cannot be achieved by ordinary PVC electronic wires;
2 Export certified AWM wire harness material: With a large quantity of single machine matching in North America, it is stuck on the UL Style number, which is the threshold for general factories;
3 PFAS compliance note: FEP is a fluorinated polymer and requires a PFAS declaration or alternative solution for export to Europe/North America. Silicone and XLPE fluorine free solutions are more suitable for high temperature areas of heat pumps.
