UL3132 Silicone Rubber Wire is an electronic wire certified by UL, with a rated temperature of 150 ℃ and a rated voltage of 300V. The conductor is made of tinned copper stranded wire and the insulation is made of silicone rubber. Its most prominent features are softness, high temperature resistance, and aging resistance. It is not easy to harden and crack under continuous high temperature, and has good resistance to ozone, moisture, and certain chemical resistance. It has a small bending radius and is suitable for repeated bending and wiring in narrow spaces. Compared with common PVC wires (such as UL1007), UL3132 Silicone Rubber Wire has a higher temperature resistance limit of about 80 ℃ and a longer lifespan; Compared with silicone fiberglass wire (such as UL3135), it is softer and easier to manually wire, but its mechanical wear resistance is slightly lower. Typical wire gauges range from 30AWG to 16AWG, and the current carrying capacity increases with cross-sectional area. They are commonly used inside equipment rather than for outdoor exposed wiring.

Application

Signal lines for energy storage and charging/discharging circuits

Lithium battery pack BMS, The energy storage inverter contains both electrolyte vapor and temperature rise. UL3132's silicone rubber has good ozone resistance and chemical stability, and is often used as a battery monitoring line, sampling line, and low-voltage control line, rather than directly as a high current main busbar.

Low voltage electronic system for electric vehicles

For on-board chargers, BMS slave boards, and low voltage circuits below 300V in distribution boxes, UL3132 Silicone Rubber Wire can be used as sensor wires, communication wires, and auxiliary power leads to resist temperature rise and bumps inside the vehicle.
