1.Typical applications of UL AWM 3817 (focusing on high power, high current, and high voltage wiring for general equipment)

3.The core differentiation between the two applications (one glance selection)

(1)Current/power differentiation (most critical)
Select 3817: Need to transmit high current, power circuit, energy storage/inverter power main line, motor high-power lead wire; There are 10 AWG and above thick wire specifications.
Option 3633: Only low current, high voltage signal, backlight lighting, electrostatic high voltage, micro power module; Only 22-28AWG ultra-fine wires are available and do not support high currents at all.
(2)Space differentiation of equipment structure
3817: Conventional equipment chassis, energy storage cabinets, industrial equipment, with sufficient wiring space, prioritize ensuring insulation strength, wear resistance, and current carrying capacity.
3633: Ultra thin screens, lightweight portable devices, multi-layer dense wiring, narrow gaps in sheet metal, and ultimate compression of wire harness volume are the top requirements.
(3)Long term working temperature differentiation
3817: Equipment long-term heating ≤ 125 ℃ scenarios (energy storage, ordinary industrial, household appliances).
3633: The local hotspot of the device can reach 150 ℃ (local high temperature of backlight driver board and small boost module), with a larger short-term high-temperature tolerance margin.
(4)Distinguishing mechanical tolerance scenarios
3817: The equipment is often disassembled and reassembled internally, with wire harnesses pulled and metal edges rubbing against each other. Thick insulation provides stronger resistance to wear and compression.
3633: Only fix the wiring, without frequent pulling and pulling, relying on thin insulation and blade resistant materials to adapt to narrow sheet metal seams, not suitable for heavy mechanical stress.
