UL AWM 1452 and UL AWM 1316 are two different specifications of wires, both of which use PVC+NYLON (polyvinyl chloride+nylon) sheaths and have the following characteristics and applications:
1. Characteristics
(1)Good electrical performance:It usually has high insulation resistance, which can effectively prevent current leakage and electrical short circuits, ensuring the stability and safety of power transmission. The rated voltage of UL AWM 1452 is 1000V, and the rated voltage of UL AWM 1316 is 600V.
(2)Good heat resistance:UL AWM 1452 has a rated temperature of 90℃, and UL AWM 1316 has a rated temperature of 105℃. It can maintain good performance in high temperature environments and is less prone to insulation aging, softening, and other issues.
(3)High mechanical strength:Nylon sheath has good wear resistance and tear resistance, which can effectively protect the internal conductor and insulation layer, and improve the service life of the wire. At the same time, the flexibility of the wires is good, making them easy to bend and lay, and not easily broken.
(4)Strong chemical corrosion resistance:PVC and nylon materials have a certain resistance to various chemicals, and can withstand the erosion of chemicals such as oil, acid, and alkali, making them suitable for more complex chemical environments.
(5)Excellent flame retardant performance:Generally passed relevant flame retardant tests, such as UL AWM 1452 passing FT2 flame retardant test. In the event of a fire, it can slow down the spread of flames and reduce the risk of fire.
(6)Convenient threading:The outer diameter of the wire is relatively small, lightweight, and nylon has self-lubricating properties. When threading, the friction coefficient is small, which can increase the threading capacity of the wire conduit and improve the laying efficiency.
2. Application
(1)Internal wiring of electronic devices:Due to its excellent electrical and mechanical performance, it is suitable for internal connections of various electronic devices, such as computers, televisions, audio equipment, etc.
(2)Electrical product connection:It can be used for power connection and internal wiring of household appliances, such as refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, etc., to ensure the safe operation of electrical equipment.
(3)Lighting system:Suitable for wired lighting equipment, such as LED light strips, connection of lamps, etc., to meet the electrical and mechanical requirements of the lighting system.
(4)Building wiring:It can be used for electrical wiring inside buildings, such as laying wires in walls and ceilings, to provide stable power transmission.
(5)Internal wiring of automobiles:In the interior of automobiles, wires need to have good temperature resistance, oil resistance, and vibration resistance. PVC+NYLON sheathed wires can meet these requirements and are commonly used for electrical system connections in automobiles.
