Tetrafluoroethylene-perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether copolymer is a resin made of polytetrafluoroethylene modified by perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether, referred to as PFA. It improves the processing difficulty of polytetrafluoroethylene PTFE, and makes its performance and long-term service temperature close to or maintain the level of polytetrafluoroethylene. The mechanical strength of PFA is similar to that of polyvinyl fluoride, but at a high temperature of 250C, its mechanical strength is higher than that of polytetrafluoroethylene, and it is tough and soft, which makes the mechanical properties of PFA very prominent. The electrical performance of PFA is no different from that of polytetrafluoroethylene. It is less affected by external frequency and has excellent dielectric properties. Therefore, it is a good choice to use PFA as the core wire of coaxial cables. PFA Teflon wire has the same thermal stability as polytetrafluoroethylene. The long-term use temperature is -250~260°C, and the thermal decomposition temperature is above 450°C. Even in the working environment of 285°C, it can still maintain stability for more than 2000 hours. , can still maintain the original mechanical properties, showing its excellent thermal stability, the chemical stability of PFA is the same as that of polytetrafluoroethylene and polyperfluoroethylene wires, and it is also non-stick and non-flammable , low friction and outstanding performance in environmental stress cracking resistance.
